The term Nag Tibba means 'Serpant's Peak' in the local language. This peak is at a height of 3022 m above the sea level, and situated around 72 KMs from the quaint cantonment town, Landour and 56 KMs from the queen of hills, Mussoorie. Nag Tibba is believed to be the abode of Nag Devta (God of Snakes) erstwhile. Nag Devta is offered payers till date by the local villagers as a local deity who protects their cattle and them. The steep trek to Nag Tibba is about 8 KMs yet not that hard. The Nag Tibba peak is believed to be the highest in the Shivalik Range and bestows some alluring scenes. The majestic and never aging peaks like Swargrohini, Bandarpoonch, Kala Nag, Gangotri and the mesmerizing Doon Valley. Reach the base camp and witness the beautiful sunset.
