Pauri Garhwal is a district that is the most scenic place in the Garhwal region in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, headquarters is in the town of Pauri. It is also sometimes referred to as Garhwal district but the Garhwal region is larger it shouldn’t be confused. Pauri Garhwal is known for being naturally unique and exclusive. The Nayyar river decides Alaknanda is the major river of the district as well as major tributaries of Alaknanda which is the confluence of eastern and western Nayyar at Satpuli. The nearest railway station will be Kotdwara Railway Station which is about 101 km (3 hours) from Pauri Garhwal which is well connected with several cities.
