Zuluk is a small village on a hill in East Sikkim that also acts as an Indian Army military base. It was once a transit point on the popular silk route to Lhasa. Slowly gaining popularity as an offbeat destination, Zuluk is ideally situated on the Silk Route, allowing day trips to Padamchen, Lungthung, Nathang, and Kupup Lake. Thambi Point is a must-see for its stunning views of the sunrise over Kanchenjunga. Zuluk is a restricted area, so anyone wishing to visit must first obtain a special permit.
