Arignar Anna Zoological Park is one of the country's most modern and scientifically managed zoos, with 602 hectares (1,490 acres) of land, including a 92.45-hectare (228.4-acre) rescue and rehabilitation centre. It is situated in Vandalur, Chennai. By breeding programme for rare and endangered species of the Western and Eastern Ghats, this zoo has achieved excellence as a dynamic nature conservation centre.
