The Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple is located in Trimbak approximately 28 km away from the city which is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the origin of the sacred Godavari river is near Trimbak. The temple was built by the 3rd Peshwa Balaji Bajirao also the temple is very well connected by state transport buses. The place is very much important in the Hindu religion.
