Tabo is famous for its splendid Tabo Monastery in Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. The place is also famous among bikers for one of the most adventurous trips also for activities such as trekking and camping. Tabo is somewhat isolated but perfect to spend an offbeat vacation with friends. It is said that it is founded by King Yeshe Od who was from the Purang Guge dynasty.
