Somanath or the Lord of the Moon, Another important pilgrimage spot in Gujarat. It is situated at the Triveni Sangam i.e. the confluence of three holy rivers: Kapila, Hiran and Sarasvati. The main attraction of the city is the Somnath Temple which is a popular pilgrimage site and home to one of the 12 Jyothirlingas of the Hindu Lord Shiva. Here you can also enjoy one of the large fair on the day of the full moon of Kartik Purnima in November/December every year.
