Sanchi is a small town near the capital city Bhopal, it has a buddhist complex. Sanchi is the imporatnt pilgrimage site in Buddhist religion. The Stupa was founded by Ashoka The Great around thousand years ago. The complex consist various temple, monolithic pillars anad monasteries. The Stupa also has remains of Lord Buddha such as hair, teeth or bones, that the reason stupa holds an important place in Buddhism.
