Renukoot is a city in the Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is a small hilly area with plenty of vegetation. Renukoot is a manufacturing town. The Hindalco aluminum plant (Asia's largest) and the Rihand Dam are well-known. Renukoot has some beautiful temples that are a big tourist attraction in addition to the industrial area. Renukeshwar Mahadev Temple is one of the best tourist attractions in the town, which was constructed by trained artisans in May 1972. The temple receives a large number of visitors during the year. Birla Temple is another name for this holy site. The massive Nandi Bail (Oxen) idol in front of the temple's Garbha Griha is a sight to behold. Radhe Krishna Temple and Rihand Dam are some other tourist spots in Renukoot.
