With the majestic Pench river which flows from the green forest, many wildlife is dependent on the river. One can even spot much variety of wildlife here on the rocky terrains. Pench National Park is a source of great inspiration for the very renowned and famous novel "Jungle Book". If one is more fascinated toward tribal life than during boat rides during safari you can witness that. From 1st October to 30th June the national park is open to visitors every year and during the monsoon, it is closed. If you want to know the best time to visit the national park it is during the month of November to February and the timing is from 6am to 11 am in the morning and 3 pm to 6 pm during the evening. Only the 15 seater bus and light vehicles are allowed on the premises of the national park.
