Parasnath, the temple town situated in the Indian state Jharkhand, is the highest hill in the state, at the height of 4480 ft and 35 km away from Giridih town. The Parasnath temple is considered to be the most important and holy place of Jains. It is approximately 9 km from the base for one side which makes it 18 km for a round trip, along with two temples and 24 shrines. Most of the temples are dedicated to Lord Parshavnath.
