Naggar is an ancient town which is situated in the district of Kullu in Himachal Pradesh. It is situated on the left of the bank river Beas at an altitude of 1851 mts. It was founded by Raja Visudhpal and was the capital of Kullu in ancient time. Naggar castle is the main attraction of Naggar now it is converted into a hotel since 1978. Other famous attractions are Jagatipatt temple, Tripura Sundri Temple, Nicholas Roerich art Gallery, Gauri Shankar Temple etc.
