Kedarnath Temple is distantly the four Chota Char Dham sites, it has been a pilgrimage center since ancient times. There is no description that this temple was constructed by the King from the Pandava ancestors. The architecture of the temple was like most of the architecture of the ancient temples of its period the ashlar style. Kedarnath temple is located in the Himalayas and is said to have achieved significance after the Mahabharata legend portrayed how the Pandavas exhorted Lord Shiva to forgive their bad Karma. And the temple is said to have been built by the tremendous religious Guru Adi Shankaracharya to its existing structure.
