Bodhgaya is home to Mahabodhi temple. It is one of the most famous as well as scared place in Buddishm pilgrimage. This is the only place where Budha gets enlightment under the Banayan tree to became Buddha. The temple is magnificent in itself, also there is a Banayan tree from the original sapling at the time of Buddha. Also visit the Chaitya present near the Mahabodhi Temple.
