Binsar is a small town which is situated 33 Kilometres from Almora in the state of Uttrakhand. It is situated at the height of 2420 mts from sea level. Binsar is known for its unreal beauty of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks. From Binsar one can easily sight the peaks like- Chaukhamba, Trishul, Nanda Devi, Shivling and Panchachuli. Binsar is also famous for one of the famous Lord Shiva temple names Bineshwar Mahadev Temple.
