Bhismaknagar has a fort which is located nearly 30 km from a township, Roing which is dated to 8 century. The place is regarded as the oldest archaeological site in the Bhismaknagar region. This site was first explored in 1848 further the site was excavated in 1965-70. The Northern side of the fort is naturally protected by the boundary of hills. The place also offers different types of activities which include hiking, trekking, and forest camping.
