"Bastar is a district of Chhattisgarh state and headquarters of Bastar division in Jagdalpur. Bastar is known for its beautiful forests and tribal culture, because of this it is called the cultural capital of the state. The main attractions of this division are The Chitrakoot and Teerathgarh waterfalls are situated close to Jagdalpur. The Chitrakote Falls is a natural waterfall on the Indravati River, a large water body falling in the middle of the strong trees and Vindhya ranges, which falls from this waterfall, attracts tourists’ attention While The Teerathgarh Falls is a block type waterfall on the Kanger River.
