Bandipur Tiger Reserve and National park founded in 1974 as a tiger reserve under the tiger project, it is located in Karnataka. Earlier the private hunting ground of the Maharaja of Mysore. It is the second-highest tiger population in India. Bandipur National Park shares its boundary with the other three National parks. The place is surrounded by lush greenery and vegetation. The Reserve also has an animals care centre. The natural waters sources in this reserve through Moyar, Nugu and Kabini rivers.
