The Amaranth Cave Temple is one of the most significant Hindu shrines placed in Jammu and Kashmir at an altitude of 3,338 meters. It is considered to be one of the Major Dhams of Hindu. The holy cave belongs to Lord Shiva, Lord Shiva is enshrined in an ice-lingam form in this case and it is formed naturally, which is resin and wane according to the moon. Every year lacs of devotees visit Amaranth and achieve eternal peace. The Amaranth trek started in July - August.
